  • Made in USA: Premium American-made fishing tackle from Diesel Baits

Rigging & Techniques:

Jig Trailer: Thread onto your favorite flipping jig (3/8 to 1 oz) for maximum bulk and action in heavy cover. The ribbed body creates incredible vibration.

Texas Rig: Pair with a 3/0 to 5/0 offset worm hook and 1/4 to 1/2 oz bullet weight for flipping and pitching into structure.

Carolina Rig: Excellent choice for dragging across rocky bottoms and ledges to trigger reaction strikes from offshore bass.

Swimming: Rig on a weighted swimbait hook and swim through grass lines and weed edges for aggressive strikes.

Best Fishing Situations:

  • Flipping and pitching to docks, laydowns, and brush piles
  • Working through lily pads and thick vegetation
  • Swimming along grass lines and weed edges
  • Targeting bass in deep cover during summer heat
  • Pre-spawn and spawn periods when bass are in shallow cover
  • Dragging across rocky bottoms and ledges for offshore bass

Target Species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass

Pro Tip: The J-Lurch's ribbed body creates incredible vibration that bass can feel from a distance. When flipping or pitching, let the bait fall on slack line and watch your line closely - bass often strike on the initial fall. The versatile design also makes it deadly when swam through grass on a weighted hook.

Color Selection: Natural colors (green pumpkin, watermelon) work best in clear water. Use darker colors (black, junebug, purple) in stained water or low light conditions. Two-tone colors with contrasting bellies can trigger more strikes.
