The Ultimate Finesse Stick Bait for Bass
The Billastick 5.25" is a stick bait that combines the proven Senko-style profile with unique flat bill ends for enhanced action. This versatile soft plastic worm is deadly on largemouth and smallmouth bass in any fishing situation, from shallow cover to deep structure.
Key Features:
- Flat Bill Design: Unique flat head and tail create subtle quivering action on the fall
- Perfect 5.25" Length: Ideal size for wacky rigging, Texas rigging, and Neko rigging
- Versatile Rigging: Works with wacky rig, Texas rig, Carolina rig, Neko rig, and weightless presentations
- Durable Construction: Tough yet soft plastic withstands multiple fish catches
- 7-Pack Value: Perfect quantity for a full day of fishing
Rigging Techniques:
Wacky Rig: Hook through the middle with a #1 or 1/0 octopus hook. Let it fall on slack line - bass can't resist the shimmy. Use O-rings to extend bait life.
Texas Rig: Pair with a 3/0 to 4/0 offset worm hook and optional bullet weight (1/8 to 1/4 oz). Perfect for flipping into heavy cover.
Neko Rig: Insert a nail weight into one end and hook through the body with a wacky rig hook. Deadly for finicky bass on rocky bottoms.
Weightless: Simply hook it and cast - the natural fall rate triggers strikes from suspended bass.
Best Fishing Situations:
- Sight fishing to bedding bass during spawn
- Skipping under docks and overhanging cover
- Fishing around grass lines and weed edges
- Targeting pressured bass that ignore other lures
- Clear water finesse presentations
- Post-frontal tough bite conditions
Target Species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Panfish
Pro Tip: When wacky rigging, watch your line closely on the fall. Most strikes happen as the bait is sinking - you'll see your line jump or start moving sideways. Set the hook immediately!
Color Selection: Natural colors (green pumpkin, watermelon) work best in clear water. Use darker colors (black, junebug) in stained water or low light conditions.
